Since you did a backup. Did you also do a hard reset.....and then try to pair the bluetooth up with the phone? Try that, hard reset-pair bluetooth (with nothing installed not even contacts)-try to make a call using it. If it fails that way I would say its either a Hardware problem with the phone or bluetooth. I would take the phone back.....try it again and if it fails AGAIN. Replace the bluetooth. If you restore the phone back to factory settings it should work, then you have the daunting task of doing a selective restore. It will take a while depending on what you have installed on the device. If it works with the hard reset, do the selective restore and only add 1 app per day to find out which one is the problem. I didn't use bluetooth with my 650 except a couple of times. Also maybe you should look into the LAWSUIT against Palm, for those who don't know there is a Lawsuit for faulty hardware that was shipped with the Treo 600 and 650

i know tht is very tedious but i tried tht and now i have solved many more problems of my LD

kingtyce, thanks for the mozart file, it worked.

now, I want to know if anyone knows of a way to use and voip service using a treo but without paying for the minutes that you are connected. I know of an app that works with skype but you need to buy credit. I havent looked deep into articulation, but I think it is the same issue. Any ideas ??

hi deebase .... welcome to the forum

to view sms on PC....

you have to first install agendus mail and then create an sms account

then you have to create another account for synchronization

then you can hotsync you palm to your PC and find your SMS databse and read them on a PC

vCardManager creates a new way of handling vCard or widely known as business cards. This app can receive or send from/to any mobile phones or any gadgets that support business card.

Business card handling should have been a standard feature of a smartphone like the Treo phones. Unfortunately, Palm chose not to include it in the package. vCardManager fills up this missing feature.

FEATURES:

• Send contact information to other mobile phones via vCard. E.g. Nokia, SE, Samsung, etc.
• If the recipient’s phone has vCard handling capability, they will receive it as “BUSINESS CARD RECEIVED”. Else, they will receive it as a regular SMS.
• Each phone brand has its own way of handling vCard yet each one of them can be handled by vCardManager. Hence, choosing the right phone before sending a vCard is very important.
• Capable of sending a widely-used business card format or just plain SMS with the contact’s information. This is a contingency option if ever the user is unsure of the recipient’s phone brand. If the vCard is more than 160 characters, it will be automagically parsed to the general vCard format.
• Enabling the vReceive option will make vCardManager as the default business card handler.
• Options of saving vCard as a new contact entry, as SMS, or just discard it.
• It will run on the background without affecting the Treo’s speed. No hede or vchr calls. Set-and-forget after activation. Once set, no user interaction is needed. This app can survive crashes and resets. vReceive will still remain active all the time. The only way to stop it is to press the Disable button.
• 5-way nav support.
• Built-in CallerID engine. See the name of the business card sender. Unlike in Nokia, they don’t know who sent the business card.
• Enable/disable sound alert.
