Palm Treo 500 how to format

Hi, Can any one tell me how to format Pamltreo 500.

Format?
I used to have a M500, don't know if is the same, but older treos (under the 750) came with PalmOS in ROM...(ROM=Read Only Memory) there is no format available, just reset it or hard reset it & reborn with fresh original OS...
If I'm nor wrong, hard reset is the same procedure as the antcesors, just hold [up] button pressed while inserting a pencil on the pinhole...

Thats warm reset, i.i. boot without extensions. This is useful when you have a boot loop or a crash right after a reset. You want to hold the POWER button, push the reset button/ take out and resinsert the battery, wait until the Palm logo pops up, release the button, then press up when it asks you to confirm
