Help....me

Hi all,

I've been experiencing a weird situation where all my blackberry devices could not conect to the data network but conected to the GSM network. so i get "gprs" instead of "GPRS". The telco company told me to register the handheld to the nework but it doesnt work, i still got small gprs. I tried to reinstall the firmware , wiping , nuking and unlocking again but still ... only voice and no data. is there by any chance that RIM has develop a new way to prevent blackberry unlocking? because i dont buy my blackberry devices from telco company, but from online vendor. please somebody helps me, changing the vsm files didnt works to for note ..

The same happened to me. What I did was to call my provider. They reloaded and reregister my BB in the network and got the capitals back!

I already try that too and my OP said that nothing happen on their network and my bb doesn't detected to to their network ... i wonder whats happening.

sounds like your blackberry is data locked to solve this problem you need to debrand your blackberry with a no branded vsm file read the forum on how to do this and this will solve the problem of restricted data sessions

Hi Jutley,

Ive tried that too , i debrand my bb's with RIM generic vsm files. from vendor id = 100 to vendor id = 169 , but still i couldn't get "GPRS" i event clone my dead BB's IMEI, PIN and even BSN with radio labs tool and MFI Loader but the result stills the same no Data connection, and from the news that spreads around in my city ... its jakarta, theres a lot of this happening. this is very weird ... and i just saw another post with the same problem with me. by the way, is some one here have the file of all the vsm, i would like to try again with different vsm and different vendor id ... and thanks for the help in advanced
