8900 charging problem - GSM-Forum

Hi guys, need a bit of help on this one.

I have 2 8900 Curves, both have had fresh updates, and are both working fine, but one has a small problem.

One of the phones does not show the "Lightning Bolt" on the battery level icon when charging.

I have tried different wall chargers, USB leads, different computers, and have even swapped the batteries from one phone to the other, and still no "Lighttning Bolt" shows.

I know I can check the battery level in the "Status" part of Options, but I am selling the phone shortly, and need to know if this can be fixed.

When the phone is turned off, the led flashes to show that its charging, but when I turn it back on, still no "lightning Bolt".

Any ideas would be great guys.

sr. you already wiped it and instaled the last OS?

I have worked out it is a problem with USB port, so need new logic board.
