I have 9700 but often go to SOS ******** where signal is 100% from another 9700 with same carrier
any solution?

Hi mate, well I didn't test on a device, but this may help:

The app. is called FIXSOS.
Unzip the file and create a new folder.
Copy the folder in your SD card within the phone
Search the .jad file using multimedia content
Execute the application and follow the steps.
