bb 9000 insert sim problem - GSM-Forum

hi chaps i have a bb 9000 set that wont read any sim card checked hardwere

but all is well no damge to sim reader phone hadnt been opened untill i did its not barred or water damged ive wiped it fully with freewhitebold then updated with bb desktop but still no joy the set is fully working apart from unalblie to read a sim card ??? ps its a de/braned set so how can i find out what network its on as i cant unlock it till tommow when i get back to work

ive just looked at the mep MEP-10129-004 panama - cable and wirelessdo u think this is y it wont read a sim card as iam trying to use a uk sim card

solved the problem as it was a set from out side the uk after unlocking it read a uk sim card ok very strange as b4 it was just saying no sim card inserted
