This could happen if you are unlocking a phone that it is not yours but being yours there is not any problem if you are searching a way to unlock your phone. Ányone doesn't want to throw his phone like garbage or sell it for parts because he made a mistake 10 times. Many times because someone else gave a wrong code or bad instructions.
