First backup the phone with desktop manager then wipe the device using BBsak (google it but not needed to wipe anyway) After that go to the sticky topic with all firmware for blackberries title and go to link in it, its an RIM site and choose your phone model. Search wikipedia for your model and see which carrier got the latest number and choose that carrier in RIM's site and download the firmware file. After that head to common files in program files and go to RIM's folder then locate and delete the file named Vendor.xml and last click loader.exe and follow the instructions. Sorry if the tutorial isn't good enough because I wrote it from my mobile Also this only applies on windows and with USB cable of course! Last edited by Hamadamoh; 05-18-2011 at 16:24. |
