blacberry link update problem - GSM-Forum

when updating via blackberry link.. link gives error message "'there are no blackberry device software updates availabe''

i have tried on 2 computers today, tried 3 different models ,Z3, q5 and z10.

is there problem with bb servers? anybody can confirm.?

if you want to reinstall your os just go to bb link exe / preference than reloaded software must be flow software guide / direction

i have used it via preferences..it gives the same error message.on blackberry website.update via pc link is also dead.

Can somebody kindly confirm, iff bb link is working or not?
before i start tinkering with my computer.

They might be working but I think connection to their servers is not stable.It keeps disconnecting every now and then.In short they (servers) are not working because we cant update our devices.

if bb link cant star/crash...

To rename the iTunesPrefs.xml file;

Turn on Show hidden files and folders
Navigate to C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\
Rename the iTunesPrefs XML file file to iTunesPrefs.old
