Blackberry 8220 MEP2 counter "0" - GSM-Forum

Dear experts,

have this blackberry 8220 to unlock from T-mobile usa, but counter has reached to "0", its shows "0" trial left while pressing MEPP2.is it possible to restore counter?

yes u can solve ur problem with reflash ur bb

Downloaded and setup everything like described in the thread. but i m receiving the error while running MML as attachment every time and on phone it shows "no application linked [factory 05]".
tired running MML with or without battery but same error. also tried downgrading and upgrading firmware but same error.changed ports done. my handset firmware was 4.6.0.180 and i have restore back the same vesion..handset still showing counter "0" and neither unlocked...i think there is some problem with MML..i am also taking care of running mml with our without net connection but same problem..presently handset status is on and invalid sim card

Replace attatch Configuration
Open mml
into hidden mode (ctrl + shift + alt + F12)
Do Clear MEP

Tried this but receiving error as attachment."password error".

i have not set any password..even during upgrading firmware

8220 is NOT SUPPORTED by any free tool

counter reset not done using rom booter.

the only way to unlock new security blackberry is with unlock code or dongle.

The only thing you can do is wait until a new MML version that supports your phone comes out and do the "clear mep" procedure. No free tool supports that model yet.
