Blackberry 8310 code problem - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I´m trying to enter unlocking code in Blackberry 8310, when i type MEPPD i get the screen whick shows the sim lock status. After that whatever i type there is nothing on the screen. I typed MEP2 but nothing, is there any idea what i´m doing wrong caz every time i get the same screen. Plz reply me. Thanks

How to enter codes in BlackBerry
1. Insert any sim card
2. Turn off all of the wireless connections
3. Go to Options
4. Select Advanced Options
5. Select SIM Card
6. Hit menu select show keyboard (where needed)
7. Type MEPPD or MEPD (you will not be able to see the typed info)
8. Enter MEP2 or MEPP2(type mepp and hold alt button and press 2 or type mep and hold alt button and press 2)
9. Now it will say enter network mep code
