blackberry 8900 changing language... - GSM-Forum

hi i need to change language in a blackberry 8900 i need to put italian language but im struggling with it. i think i need to use destop manager but what to click inside the software? i dont see any option in how to change firmware to blackberry being able to choose italian language,also i guess that i need a good firmware to write to the phone with italian language and i went to the blackberry site and im downloading the 5.0.0.41 firmware(TIM ITALY),i guess it has italiana language in it,i have to rename or delete vendor.xml in order to be able to flash it? can i not install blackberry desktop suite but just install the firmware package and flash the phone?

P.S: the phone has: v4.6.1.152(platform 4.2.0.91)

if i flash it with sw 5.0.0.41 i will kill the phone or i can do it and the sw will go from v4.6.1.152 to 5.0.0.41 without any problem?

hi friend all you have to do is go to the program files then common files research in motion and apploader select what u need next next next that is all you are not gone kill the phone
