Blackberry 8900 keypad not functioning

I have a Blackberry Curve 8900 with a non-functioning keypad. The water damage stickers are fine and show NO water damage.

Here are the steps I've taken to correct the problem:

1) I disassembled the phone and cleaned under the keypad membrane with alcohol.
2) I installed a new membrane for the 8900
3) I wiped the phone with JLCMDR and reinstalled the latest BB operating system.

It is still not reading the keypad. The phone will turn on, the display is fine, it has a signal, it can be charged and is recognized when connected to a PC.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what else to do to try and fix this phone?

Cheers!

I have just found this thread: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f489...orking-903344/ But, I'm not sure what they're suggesting to remove. Is there a before and after photo?

Usually it happens right after water damage. Make sure you clean mother board completely. Then apply this fix 100% working......
