try to take the batterie out and than connect it to the pc. After that follow the steps from the sticky threads "no software update needed"
That should help.

Doing the recovery works. Just be patient.

Try the loader /nojvm from dos prompt. Its an art of patience and timing.

Windows XP: Start / Run... type > cmd

You will see a black window.

what is "patient" ??? and what is "timing" ???, what this person trying to tell is : Blackberry not detected by computer also not detect in computer device manager....

I have faced this problem for over 10 phones different types and with the same symtomps (red blink), and using 4 different , and try all the solutions that people in this forum tell what to do, but still no luck, so it's better to try Hardware Solutions....

But because Blackberry Schematics is hard to find, so what we can to do is working BLIND...just reheat / rework IC....that's what we all can to do right now...

Untill our Moderator/Expert is this forum share the solutions for all member...

Best Regards,
