install one PCI2USB card in ur computer.

try with usb port available from this card.

sometimes pc internal usb doesnot provide sufficient current. PCI2USB card will solve this problem.

Just delete the vendor file in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader then you can flash to any firmware you like

This is a hardware problem, I have a 9500 that is doing the same think. It was shocked somehow and now the hardware is fried.

yesterday ı solved this problem. phone is working. but we dıdnt knowe. battary was finished. ı found the another batary and now BB is working. before ıt was red blinking. my problem now bb 9000 cant be simlock

launch flasher (desktop man) aplloader etc.. after clic start try this :

- phone w/o batt, plug cable when red led on put battry and continue


if not work : lauch "loader.exe" from dos console look in this folder (\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader )and retry same procedure (command : loader /NOJVM)

hi there, I have the same red blink problems, it seems like it is hardware problem, as bootrom is corrupted. There is no solution yet.
