Member: 1783516 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Blackberry 9300 error 507 after loading os I have nuked and wiped my Blackberry 9300 many times and tried to install latest system and others with: loader loader /nojvm MCP BBSAK 9300-500-B1440-TelefonicaInstaladorRapido With loader the system seems to load but when re-booting to load applications shows error 507 but continues to load applications. When finished, booting goes to 75% and reboots a few times then boot bar goes to end, waits then gives error 200. Then go into MCP and directory lists all applications loaded - seems OK. cfp INFO gives Device Info: PIN: 276992e0 Bootrom Version: 5.15.0.6 Hardware ID: 0x04000F07 RIM BlackBerry Device HW ID Override: None Metrics Version: 6.16 Build Date: Jun 12 2010 Build Time: 11:14:13 Build User: ec_agent Security: Enabled Supported Options: 0x00000001 Drivers: 0x00000004 Processor: 0x00000001 LDR Blocks: 0x5C0259B4 Bootrom Size: 0x00020000 External MCT/HWV: Enabled Boot Mode: N/A Boot OS Count: N/A HWV: Board Revision 0001 - 0x0F CPU Version 0002 - 0xD8 SW Compatibility 0003 - 0x01 POP Revision 0004 - 0x13 Power Mgt Hardware 0007 - 0x2F POP Security 000B - 0x01 GPS 000C - 0x06 ROM MASK Version 000D - 0x09 Hearing Aid Compat 0037 - 0x01 WCDMA Band supported 003B - 0x02 BSIS support 0041 - 0x01 Mem Config Table (ver 1.24): Flash Chip: blocks 0-2000, Chip 0, Sub 0 Bootrom: blocks 0-0 OS Dynamic: blocks 2-???? Member: 1783516 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thank you for your advice. I have OS installed. Which driver must be installed? Results are that factory reset wiped data. When rebooted, bar went to 100% then stopped and gave error 200. Here is the section of the error log where the failure seemed to occur: guid:0x9C3CD62E3320B498 time: Sun Jul 15 16:23:01 2012 severity:1 type:3 app:Java Exception data: RuntimeException ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0x5f3578d801ffd426) timeout net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationRegistry <private> 0x538C net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationRegistry waitFor 0x5243 net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationRegistry waitFor 0x51AE net_rim_cldc-21(4E68CC9F) ProtocolDaemon getInstance 0x8829 net_rim_tac(4E68CCFA) TunnelAllocatorImpl start 0x4B5F net_rim_tac(4E68CCFA) Registration tacMain 0x2C35 net_rim_tac(4E68CCFA) ServiceStartup main 0x2C57 guid:0x9C3CD62E3320B498 time: Sun Jul 15 16:23:01 2012 severity:1 type:3 app:Java Exception data: RuntimeException ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0x1c1f298273a93a9b) timeout net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationRegistry <private> 0x538C net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationRegistry waitFor 0x5243 net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationRegistry waitFor 0x51AE net_rim_cldc-26(4E68CC9F) Proxy getInstance 0x7B90 net_rim_os-9(4E68D170) TimeSyncImpl <init> 0xC2E4 net_rim_os-9(4E68D170) TimeSyncImpl TimeSyncMain 0xC26C net_rim_os-8(4E68D170) ServiceStartup libMain 0x9805 guid:0x9C3CD62E3320B498 time: Sun Jul 15 16:23:01 2012 severity:1 type:3 app:Java Exception data: RuntimeException ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0x6ebc3d82c4655357) timeout net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationRegistry <private> 0x538C net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationRegistry waitFor 0x5243 net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationRegistry waitFor 0x51AE net_rim_cldc-8(4E68CC9F) LowMemoryManager <private> 0x488B net_rim_cldc-8(4E68CC9F) LowMemoryManager recoveryNeeded 0x48FE net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationManagerImpl <private> 0x2C3B net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationManagerImpl <private> 0x28CB net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationManagerImpl <private> 0x2D91 net_rim_cldc-10(4E68CC9F) ApplicationManagerImpl <init> 0x3C03 net_rim_app_manager(4E68CCF9) ApplicationManagerApp main 0x2F guid:0x97C9F5F641D25E5F time: Sun Jul 15 16:23:01 2012 severity:0 type:2 app:System data:VM:+BORK guid:0x97C9F5F641D25E5F time: Sun Jul 15 16:23:01 2012 severity:0 type:2 app:System data:App Error 200 guid:0x97C9F5F641D25E5F time: Sun Jul 15 16:23:01 2012 severity:0 type:2 app:System data:Application Manager threw ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0x6ebc3d82c4655357) timeout guid:0x97C9F5F641D25E5F time: Sun Jul 15 16:30:36 2012 severity:0 type:2 app:System data:VM: 600001 gc=0 idle=0 native=net.rim.device.internal.system.InternalServ ices.catastrophicFailure In BBSAK I loaded the os again which seemed to load OK. When it rebooted it went to the 75% loaded then restarted loop. I then did another factory reset and it wiped data then went back in the loop. Anything else I can try please? Thanks again |

Member: 1783516 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks for your replies. I eventually got it to start up but when I removed the battery and replaced it went back to error condition. What is location of the boot ic as I suspect it needs reflowing? Thanks again |
