Member: 449063 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | I'm having the same problem with a 9300, Orange U.K, the code generated doesn't work, it doesn't say code error it just uses an attempt up, and asks for a MEP code not a MEP2. Very strange, must be a new security that makes them like BB10's to unlock BTW the phone I am having the same problem with is PRD 38296-001 which has many times worked with MEP-06424-002 Last edited by JAMESMARSH1980; 09-30-2013 at 22:27. |

For the record I have tried codes 1 - 5 and all fail. Maybe new os10 codes work? I really hope that this is not the case as cost would definitely outway the need to unlock

Totally agree, I also tried the full 5 codes so I'm down to 4 attempts left now, I've only had 2 phones like this, both have been Orange U.K so just wondering if maybe its Orange that have changed the security or if blackberry are going to do it on all new phones even if there not BB10

Maybe they should close shop. Making a product that is controlled too much is doomed to fail... Rim's Tech Support and warranty is one of the worst in world.. It was just a matter of time consumers got fed up with Blackberry's.. New locks? LOL.. NO ONE WANTS RIM PRODUCTS ANYMORE... |
