Member: 1874520 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Blackberry Curve 9300 trackball successfully repaired BUT Red Light Issue I thought I would try and repair the broken trackpad myself. which I managed to do. I decided to put the phone back together to a stage that I could insert the battery to ensure everything had gone to plan (the stage I had got it to was everything assembled except for the front bezzle holding screws and the screws from the back of the phone). I inserted the battery and it booted fine and trackpad worked. So I shut the phone down, removed the battery, assembled the front bezzle and all of the screws and re-inserted the sim card memory card and battery. As soon as I inserted the battery there was a solid red light.. when I then tried to boot the phone the red light continually flashes on for probably 2 seconds then off and so on. I have connected the phone to the blackberry desktop and it simply connects and disconnects. Blackberry desktop recognises that there's a problem and tries to reslove it but cannot as the handset will not stay connected. Your help would be massivley appreciated! At present I have one unhappy girlfriend! |
