blackberry Q5 display problem


please i have blackberry Q5 when the set is powered ON, it will display "Blackberry" ok, immediately a kind of scrambled wave form will start building from the lower part of the screen to the top and hang.

1. try to put only the lcd flex and check the result,,,

2. try to put another touch screen,,,

3. check up the touch screen flex connector on board,,, or the small 8pins rectangle ic besides it...

i have another query to ask for our members,,,

i have 3 pieces Q5 now with all the same problems...

it shows blackberry when u powered it on but then slowly fading off the display but the mobile is still on,,, ( it is recognized to BBlink when connected to pc)

already changed new lcd and battery but still same problem,,,

i already try software solution and then reworks the PM ic but still the same problem,,,

any one could help???

i have same problem with q5. changed touch and phone starts up with clear screen them goes hazy. whatsbthe solution for this. i tried another lcd and same issue

K. Problem solved. Download blackberry link and press restore and update.
phone worx 100% nw.

I disconnected my Q5 touch, and the phone booted up completly. keyboard working, but as the touch is disconected, i cannot use the touch. I just connected the touch with the Q5 powered on, and rebooted the phone by holding alt, caps lock and delete at the same time for few seconds. No my Q5 booted back to normal and everything works 100%.

I have same problem, phone booted up with blackberry logo, the screen becomes scramble when trying to boot up and that's the end, I disconnected touch, use another screen, remove and gang the 3 glass display ic, still no solution. Am going to contact customer and rquest that I flash the phone.

Just like magic, I change a new touch pad and it work. I tested without touch pad, problem persist. So problem solved by changing a new touch pad. So I will advice that you should always test with touchpad.

I have a Q5 is blinking a red light and I was trying to connect it on my system is requesting for ES521 signer QNXH-0S-1 if anyone who have idea on this issue should post it important.
