Hello. I have been searching the boards all day and have found some great material but i am still stuck. I have many dead phones. I am able to use the app loader and get the second step but it fails at "connecting to JVM".

I have tried every sequence possible without success. From what i understand these phones are missing 4-7 security files. Without these files the phone will not flash using the traditional loader.

I need to get these phones to wake up and complete a firmware upgrade in order to repair them.

Does anyone have a solution, free or for sale that will read and or write these secure files?

The only solution is take it to a shop with rtas hardware, this site will only get you to try files that will make it/them worse, then expect you to pay (in advance) for something that they know will NOT work, this is the state of this site..
