Blackberry Storm 9530 Network Blocked, SOS


Hi ,

Just bought BB Storm off criagslist...I think its unlocked....

when I put MEPD it shows everything is Unknown

SIM Unknown
Network Unknown
Network Subset Unknown
Service Provider Unknown
Corporate Unknown

Not sure.....but I think it is unlocked.....

here is what happens....

MEP2 - Does not give me screen to put unlock code!!

When I put Tmobile SIM card in it .....SOS comes instead of network bar.....and If i got to Mobile Networks......it shows AT&T on it....

When I out AT&T SIM card in it ....SOS comes instead of network bar....
and if I go to Mobile Networks....it shows TMobile...

aaaaah what on earth is going on!!! lol....

Any suggestions...???

hello,
I think its locked phone.just to make sure Put any other simcard and check the lock status.it shouldn't show like above (unknown).For the NETWORK press any numbers on phone and try to call.it will ask you for the RADIO on.

I hopes this will help you.....

enter sim card 9530, another blackberry
power on
to call until I make incorrect sim o activation required
change option mobile network

after

options advance
sim card
mepd

change automatic options

personalization
sim disable
network disable
network subset disable
service provider disable
corporate disable

mep2

is possible to enter the unlock code

tested

Cpl things...

When I try to put my SIM it says " Invalid SIM Card" after I turn Mobile conections ON...

When I go to Options -> Advance Options -> SIM Card -> then do MEPD....
I get the following:
personalization
sim disable
network blocked
network subset disable
service provider disable
corporate disable

I dont know where to find "Change Automatic Option"

Cannot enter MEP2.

you must insert correct sim card or its provider sim.. then you can see the MEP2..

same her with my Verizon blackberry Tour 9630. When I enter MEPD it shown that network BLOCKED.
Nothing appears when I entered MEP2.
I believe that antoniogonzalez misunderstood the problem. Even I used an active Verizon SIM card nothing happened. Any suggestion except send the phone to DM3 (cost an arm and) or use latest MML (not available anywhere in here)?

there is no solution for this problem otherwise go to bb service center they can solve your problem
