Blackberry tour 9630 unloack problem - GSM-Forum

i have a blackberry 9630 that is not giving me option to unlock it.
if i go to (option -- advance option--- sim card) with all connection turned off
i type MEPD OR MEPPD and nothing happen, when i type MEP2 OR MEPP2 nothing happen.

when i torn the phone on with non accepted sim card there is an option to enter sim unlock code, when i click yes it jumps down to no and when i click yes a second time the option disrepair.

is there another way to unlock this phone.

go to options, advanced, sim card, mepd and try mep4??

Note: A SIM card is sometimes required to unlock the phone. The SIM card can be inactive.

1) Turn off/Disable all connections (Bluetooth, WIFI and Network communications). The menu is located under Manage Communications.
2) Go to Settings
3) Go to Options
4) Go to Advanced Options
5) Go to SIM Card
6) Type "mepd" (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen). With some blackberrys you may have to type mepd in capital letters (MEPD). A new menu should drop down. If your phone is locked you will see "Active" or "Enabled" beside "Network".
7) Type: "mep2" (Hold ALT and press 2 to get the number 2)(Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen).

i have tried all of that but nothing. MEPD MEPPD not working ether

i tried the mep4 did not work

another strange thing is that i put a Verizon sim in this phone and it still asking for sim unlock code.
