Blackberry Unlocking Issue - Incorrect code? - GSM-Forum

I have a client with a BB 8520 from Claro. It seems that the unlock code is not working (the phone is not blocked). I AM NOT ASKING FOR A CODE. I am asking whether or not the code is correct. Your help is appreciated. (Note: this has been checked by furious gold and the VIP service).

check mep again, mep should be the problem

The mep is correct. I'm thinking that it may be the calculation program. I had this issue with a Verizon phone the other day too.

if mep is new you would get a wrong calculation if every thing is correct try wipe the phone and reflash and try again.

the 8520 can be higher version of bb so need to check the verion b4u procedd

Upgrade Firmware through BB Desktop then try again...

Don't believe code is correct and need wipe .... I bought code after bad calc codes and code that I bought worked
