cant upgrade 8520 os 4.6 to 5 - GSM-Forum

hi,i have bb8520 with a vodafone os 4.6,i want to upgrade it to 5.0 os but cant,every time after installing os 5.0 it remain on 4.6,

what is the real matter inside the device and why it cant upgradable????

and how to fix it?

remove the battery and connect to computer and click upgrade when it prompted you.then reinsert the battery and your good from there

wipe ur phone
reflash again

wipe ur phone with bbsk
then finde some tutorial to upgrade to os5

wipe you phone with MLF then flash with any upgraded firmware
