Change LCD BB 9700


i have BB 9700, disconected the lcd and connect lcd but now is white lcd??????

other bb 9700, change lcd for one new, but the image is distorted????

in both cases discharge C1031.

when u change lcd .. make sure that the Code behind LCD is same with the other


its must same, if not same it will not compatible

i had same problem on a 9700,i tried other lcd but white and fuzzy,i resoldered lcd connector on pcd and reflowed the display components-situated next to the lcd connector plug

I have seen this problem a few times. In my opinion:

Could be new LCD is bad
Could be your board is water damaged (which would mean maybe old LCD is good)
Maybe wrong version LCD
Maybe pins bent on connector or flex.
