For older version blackberry devices yu can use desktop manager v5 (not wrk vit plackbook)

1:uninstall current BB LINK completely by using uninstaller tool(revo)
2:uninstall left over registry files
3:restart machine
4:download and install BB link
BlackBerry - Software Updates - New Update Software for BlackBerry Smartphones - US
5:sign in using bb id and password.
6:connect,download and install.
