difficulties unlocking 8120

Hello,
i read through this forum and i downloaded the new and the old MML and followed the instructions carefully. However, i do have some problems.. when i try to open the exe data it doesnt do anything, then i replace the configuration XML file with the one that is posted in this forum and the MML windows comes up. i press s hift alt strg f12 and i reach the hidden menu , i connect my BB 8120 with the usb and press clear MEP. Then an error message comes up, saying the following :
( if the pic is not shown go to this imagehack link : http://img184.imageshack.us/my.php?image=errorow8.jpg

Again, i already replaced the config file several times. I shut off my internet several times. And i switched to authorised usage and compatibility mode and stuff but it all did not help. any ideas?

And btw: if you have installed the old MML software, the new one doesnt work apparently. At least mine doesnt work.. ;D

Sorry for my german windows :<

hope anybody can help? btw : great forum! keep it up guys

I did it that way. But i did not uninstall the new MFI before using the old one. And when i connected my bb with the usb cable my screen showed a big "X" instead of a "1". The consequence was that i had to reinstall the whole blackberry software, it took ages to do that. are you sure its going to work when i deinstall the new one and disconnect the internet?
