Help Needed for NUKED BB 9550 !!!!! - GSM-Forum

I have an almost new BB 9550 (GSM Unlocked)

1. I left the phone for charging last night & in the morning, the battery was almost drained out. I tried different chargers at different points and no charging. When i connect the phone to my laptop via usb, it shows th "charging" clock but no Lightning Bolt charging symbol.

2. i tried to do a complete wipe, thinking its a softwre issue and now on restart the blackberry startup logo comes and the progress bar goes fast and then i get "RELOAD SOFTWARE: 507"

3. When i connect it to my PC, it does not detect my USB thru DM

4. I then opened Apploader and connected the BB via isb without battery inserted and it detected my PIN no.

5. i press next and it connect to Bootrom.....Erases & Loads JVM, but when it comes to RECONENCTING TO JVM, it fails saying it cannot conenct to the phone.
I have tried this complete procedure without Battery and even with battery and even starte without battery and then inserted battery when Loading JVM Shows.

5. JL_Cmder does not connect to the phone "UNABLE TO OPEN PORT" Error.

6. BBSAK Does not connect to phone

7.CrackUtil does not connect to phone.

Any suggestions as to how i can get this started !!!

I'm really stuck.

PLEASE HELP !!!

RE-insert battery as soon as you select flash files.

done that.. all loads,,and the phones not detected when the DM says "Reconnecting to JVM", thats when it all fails.... it just does not connect to the phone then..

Try connecting without battery and re-nuke using JL_CMD.
Thats all i can think right now, if i think of anything else ill post it here for you.

thanks, i did that also..
when i connect without battery to app loader..it detects the PIN and phone.
when i connect without battery to JM_Cmder..it says Cannot Open COM Port

Just doing a little research. Have you tryed rebooting the PC and using a different cable/usb port?

yes, everything.. i've dont it on other phones before..but this BB 9550 just does not conenct at the "Reconnecting to JVM" part..

What version of BB Desktop are you running?
Also download the latest software from Here then try flashing.

i'm using DM-5.0.1 and BB 9550 OS-5.0.0.607 which is the latest for the 9550.

Does BB have w website for update via browser?

Try installing BB desktop 4.2 (latest service pack if applicable) i know its an older version but i have never had trouble with it, and am flashing a BB9700 as we speak so there is no issues flashing new handsets.

Are you able to access Rapidshare/Megaupload as i will put it on there.
The file is 230MB so it will take a while, i may have to post the link tomorrow.
