Help repairing IMEI on Curve 9300

Hello, salam and greetings

My father was talked into buying a Blackberry Curve 9300 by a guy in a shopping street and he did play with the phone a bit but didn't think of testing putting an actual sim card in it.

The phone turns out to be blacklisted on French IMEI Network or so i've understood (i'm not particularily well versed on these matters and just started reading wiki on these things today).

It appeas that you guys have managed to change IMEI on these phones, Could you please explain to me in a simple manner how to do so ? i've downloaded a tool called Radio Tool lab V2.0.x but cannot seem to make it work. it tells me that RADIO CANNOT Connect .

Please help us make it work. thanks in advance.

You need RTAS Permission Signature. Only RIM factory have this. No way you can change IMEI. I recommend you find that guy and ask for a refund.

Donate money to this user
Check the LAWS of your Country IMEI changing is ILLEGAL in some Countries
Take it back from where it came,,,, and get your money back, If you indeed bought it from there and not lost or stolen...
