How to change 'edge' to 'EDGE' - GSM-Forum

I have unlocked a BB and it is making and receiving calls on the new network.
But the internet is not working. The provider says I need to unlock the 'data pat of the software'.
The word 'edge' is shown on th

e screen in common letters. They said when 'data unlocked', 'EDGE' will show in capital letters.
Any reccomendations will be greatly appreciated.

Please activate GPRS from your network provider, Once activated in screen atomaticaly EDGE will be appers.

It does not appear to be so.
For example if the BB was from TMOBILE and I unlocked it using BB-Box. Then I put in a TSTT simcard, it makes and receives calls;but, the internet does not work. The provider says that I have to get the 'data' unlocked.
