remove battery from your device
hold back button and plug your battery in, keep holding back button until you see blackberry logo

your device should boot in "Safe Mode"

‘Options’ ‘Advanced Options’ then ‘Applications.’

and delete the app, could also be a theme... themes especially crash BBs

if you cant find it in ‘Applications.’, look around in menu

tried your solution Boss, but it doesn't seem to allow me to access the menu.

there's an "uncaught exception" error message and then the "app error 523 reset" message.

apart from the desktop manager, isn't there any other tool like BBSAK and the others that can be used to remove unwanted applications so as not to lose data??

i can reload os to get the phone functional but i'm looking for a way out that will preserve my data.
any ideas????
best wishes

managed to get it into safe mode finally but it doesn't stay on that long to enable me go into the menu to delete anything and then the "app error 523 reset" message appears.

will keep trying.

thanx and best wishes
