How repair bb 9800 red light (loop connect/disconnect)


i have this bb that customer has fu*ed during an firmware update
if i start loader.exe it dont flash phone (also with /nojvm option) , it fails after 1st step
i have nuked it with nckdongle and start "auto loader full os bb 9800_os.6.4.0.105.exe" but after it is still died ....
any help?

That is flex slider problem or vbat ic hardware issue.

Try to replace flex and if not work just replace this ic, follow instructions over here:

It can be the flex cable or the battery or the board or the magnets in the housing. I think best solution is to take a known working 9800, swap motherboards, verify if it is a problem with mainboard or other things in the housing. If board is good then you can isolate problem. This phone often blinking red light caused by bad flex cable or hardware problem in board. Also can be bad battery. Need to isolate the problem with known components.
