how to unlock my bb8520?
it keep asking for MEP, previous enterings by phoneshop employee have been rejected.
Only TWO POSSIBLE entries left.

plz advise

Make sure your read this before unlocking Blackberry 8520 curve

The Unlock Codes for every BlackBerry are unique and particular for each device.
Each BlackBerry cell phone has it's own unique IMEI code
the unlock code is used to unlock your blackberry for using any worldwide network.
After unlocking your BlackBerry 8520 curve your device will be open for use with all GSM networks.
then you can switch to any carrier simply by inserting a SIM card to your Blackberry.
The phone number recognized with the SIM card you use with your blackberry device.
Make sure to read and follow those unlocking instructions correctly.
BlackBerry devices can be hard locked if inserting unlocking code incorrectly more then ten times.
The unlocking codes are case sensetive.
While unlocking, please make sure that a SIM card is inserted inside your blackberry8520 curve.
You can also use an inactive SIM card in case you don't have an active one right now.
but, remember to use any sim card while unlocking your Blackberry device.
Please make sure that the battery on your BlackBerry 8520 curve is charged while unlocking it.
it can be half charged also but make sure it's not showing the "LOW BATTERY" message
on screen while unlocking it.

Instructions to Unlock BlackBerry 8520 curve

Insert a SIM card to your BlackBerry 8520 curve
Make sure all the connections are off(WIFI and Radio signal), Go to "Manage Connections" > "Turn All Connections Off"
Go to "Options" (or "Settings" > "Options") and then select and press the "Advanced Options"
From the "Advanced Options" menu select and press the "SIM Card" selection.
On the SIM Card screen type "MEPD" (you will not see what you are typing).
Then, type"MEP2" ("MEP4" for some networks). hold the "ALT" key for the number while typing it like this: MEP-hold ALT-2. (it will not show on screen)
A screen will show, then type the unlocking code for your BlackBerry 8520 curve and Press "Enter".repeat steps 5-6 if you dont see the unlocking code on screen when you type it.
You will see a message: "Code Accepted", in case you get error message try to use other code in the same way.
Restart your BlackBerry 8520 curve, turn the connctions back on. ("Manage Connections" > "Restore Connections") - Your BlackBerry 8520 curve is now unlocked!

I have unlock with the same procedure but now the phone is not giving Signal in Signal Area SOS is Blinking in red color Mobile Network is Virgin Media Provider after going to Advance Options and SIM Card the MEPD is not working and what is the solution for signal need step by step procedure
