How to unlock user code for Blackberry 9800? - GSM-Forum

My friend forgot 4 digit pass code for his Blackberry Torch 9800.
How to recover or reset it? He remembers that he entered "4 digit numbers". But now his BB displays only alphabets in input. So how to switch to numeric entry?
What happens if he enter wrong user code more than 10 times?

if you enter moree than 10 time phone will reset all data will be lost.. but that the only way if you forget the password

Besides of loosing data is there anything else happen?
Can I setup new user code?

By pressing ALT key u can change input to numeric

And if u enter wrong code 10 times than all of ur data will lose and after u can enter a new user code.

I prefer Iphones over BB. BB interface is clumsy.
