Member: 12270 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 107 | Lost BIS using Chimera I was hoping someone can shed some light on my problem. A few months ago I used Chimera tool to reset life timer in 30 pieces of 9900 and one Porsche P9981. After I reset life timer using this tool I noticed when I sell phone no BIS is working. I test all 30 pieces and Porsche and all have no working BIS now. I can get 3G and browse internet but cannot enter BlackBerry ID nor can you setup email or BBM. I ask Chimera team but they say their tool did not kill BIS but all these 30 pieces worked BIS before and now not working after reset life timer. They do not want to take responsibility. Maybe today problem is fixed but a few months ago when they first release software, I think they had bug in software that kill BIS as I have done nothing else to the phones except reset life timer. Now I don't know what to do with these phones. Can someone please help me try and repair what I think is now damaged EFS or NV. Thanks in advanced, |

Member: 12270 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 107 | Thanks for your input and tried your suggestion and rewrote IMEI and debrand but nothing. Then I do second time but used repair EFS options and now phone has white screen of death with APP ERROR 200. I have tried countless times to repair this new problem now this once expensive Porsche phone is now a fancy door stop. I swear Chimera tool has cost me a lot of money. |
