No EDGE after changing IMEI and PIN

Hello All,

Please forgive me if this issue has been raised before

i have changed my imei and pin of an 8300 device (experimenting device) and replaced them with an imei and pin which i took from another BB (faulty) after loading the os every thing is fine but no EDGE is showing only small edge (unable to register BIS) although i have bis service enabled on my sim

here's the breakdown of the steps i did:

1-Nuked the device using MFI multiloader (Done Successfully)
2- loaded VSM file to BB using MFI Multiloader to de-brand BB ((Done Successfully)
3- changed imei and pin using radio lab tool (Done Successfully)
4- loaded os to bb using app loader (Done Successfully)

after booting up the bb device everything was fine except for the small edge!!
