OS6 pearl 9105 vodafone UK - GSM-Forum

Hi all.

Has anyone has any experience in upgraded there software verson to OS6 on vodafone UK? my phone was from carphone warehouse so the phones unlocked as a giffgaff sim was init at one point.

1) what files did you use
2) is the phone locked to vodafone or unlocked.

Ive got exactly the same issue, ive download the latest os6 and unlocked my voda bb9105 to O2, but i get there is not update available for your device

Ok ive worked it out
Firstly backup all you need of the phone
download bbsak its a free app and install it
install latest desktop manager and the latest os6 for the pearl
run bbsak click wipe device
wait for completed msg
click load os and select the above os6
there you go all done
