hello team i have a playbook with os 2.1.0.1917 it only shows browser and settings, what can i do to see applications like GALLERY, MUSIC, VIDEOS, app world? the playbook can connect to wifi,

Try restart PB again, it maybe fix ur problem!! Or try install ROM again

tried installing update via blackberry desktop software, but after finish, its only a red blinking light when i plug charger, the playbook does not power on!!

just charge it for more than 2hr even if playbook does not power on and
then do hard reset and (hold Vol+ & Vol- & Power On button at the same time for few seconds)
then update via blackberry desktop software

but for the 1st problem (PLAYBOOK does not show menu) you have to just wipe playbook from settings thats it. but you were missguided by others.

i use playbook so i know that .
