Is it possible?

hello my friends. i have a problem. I've got a blackberry curve 8900 nuked, red led goes on and off constantly. I tried to erase and load new OS with no battery/loader.exe method that everybody uses, but i got to the part it says "device initialization" it gives me an error "unable to reconnect to the device during a multistage load operation". And i was just wondering, what if i use MFI multiloader just to perform a wipe because the device is already unlock so, what do you guys say?. Can i just open MML and uncheck the autostart option and choose only the option "wipe"? Is there some kind of configuration i have to perform before?. Please let me know, thanks in advance.
