Problem In Unlocking 9700 - GSM-Forum

Hi all

Today i got 3 BlackBerry 9700 Devices and all with same problem

After getting the unlock codes from MX-Key when going to setting to input the code and try to unlock the box that i should put the unlock code on it doesn't appear !!

i tried MEPD MEPPE MEPPD MEP2 MEPP2 and still can't get the unlock code box

also when butting SIM card on it there is full signal but can't send or receive calls and i get connection error

I tried with alt and without alt and every thing you can imagine

Is there any chance that the mobile imei is blocked by operators ???

it could be handset blocked liek if you bought 3 Handsets from same person chances are they blocked...

Best is you Put Wrong Sim Card (Sim Card frm another provider) after
put Phone On, you see in Display phone ask to MEP 2 and after MEP 4
You only put codes and phone reboot. After is Unlocked. If this don't
Work check IMEI and MEP and try see if Codes is Correct.

when i put any sim the device accept them all and never show me enter MEP screen !!

i guess that the devices may be locked from operators by it's IMEI !

they sound like there barred use check mend to check imei

I have same issue with my 9530. when i press MEPD. It shows Network Blocked. and MEP2 not working at All.
