Using dfs to write 9860 NV, I got EDGE instead of 3G. I used universal 9860 nvf file. Does anyone have a 9860 nvf file that when installed will give 3G, Something seems wrong with the universal nvf file.
What I need is nvf file copied directly from a 9860 phone.

Good day. Please I have a challenge with my blackberry 9930 verizon. There are somethings missing as I discovered like
1. It does not give me a 3G network at all instead it tell me searching for network and later crosses the network
2. There is no option in the bluetooth menu to change my bluetooth name
3. It does not have a network technology where we have options like GSM/UMTS, 1XEV and Global
I'm sure there are other things I haven't discovered yet though, I reloaded it several time with 0s 7.0 and 7.1 and also with rapido but atill the same.
Please I need a help please. Thanks to u all.

Yea, I worked it out!!!
I downloaded NV-items_reader_writer. I collected a friend's working bb 9930 and read the files and saved it. I disconnected my friend's 9930 and connected my phone and wrote the file I read from my friend's phone to my 9930(3G not working) and after it completed, I restarted my phone and the 3G came up working perfect. Owwwww!!! Just try that 100% solution. Nothing more, nothing less.
