Dear mr/msr I can inform you that this forum is an unlock and developers comunity, so you are in a wrong place. But as father I can answer you. Is not bad that a 10 year kid have his cellphone BB, Nokis, Alcatel etc but you need to be very carefull with peoples he/she is adding or talking with BBM, Facebook or any social network because of strangers. Remeber kid can have a phone but you have rules of your home.

Excuse my english. Moderator please close topic.

Wayllts, although you have asked the question in the wrong place, you are maybe not aware of the purpose of this forum, but that does not give anyone the right to question your motives for posting it, as to me it is a perfectly reasonable thing to ask.

I personally think that a 10 year old is too young to be trusted with what is after all and expensive item especially if it is on contract, children do tend to spend a lot of time on their phones and it could cost you a lot of money.

May i suggest a cheap pay as you go phone with a weekly limit to what credit you are prepared to spend on calls, that way it will make your daughter behave responsibly, appreciate money and use it sensibly. If she looses it or breaks it then you have not lost a lot.

BK

Definitely not! Give them an Android phone! Much better! And install a tracking and spy logging if you need to track them.. Blackberry ***** too much protection...

Is your daughter CEO of a company? If so, definitely yes!! She will absolutely need a BlackBerry for day to day operations and to communicate with shareholders and chair members of her company!
