something very wierd

I just bought 100 bb 9800 from one company in USA. Funny thing is that i put my sim card to test them and all is fine. I am able to call, texts, change pin cause of new device and surf the web all. The crazy thing is when I try to see IMEI for registering reason with mobile provider useing both ways *#06# or option, device and so on there isnt any IMEI. I checked on the boxes and on the back part of the phone and there is no IMEI. The only way to read IMEI is using FBL a soft used for finding out imei and mep providers. CAn the one lend a hand or tell me if you have came across this problem. Most of all if it can be solved via software

same thing here i wonder if it is the same supplier I ordered 500 pcs. it is not even listed in the status menu of the phone nor on the imei label on the back of the phone however if you scan the barcode behind the phone or top barcode on the box you get the imei...
