| Storm 2 default search engine Recently my default search engine was changed to Bing. At first I thought it was Verizon and I sent them a rather strong email about this change. To their credit, they took the time to answer me back via email AND a phone call explaining that they were not the ones who made that decision.....it was RIM. Is there any way of changing the default provider? I tried in browser-> Options->Browser Configuration-> Default Search Provider but there is only one option....Bing. Yes, I know I can type in my favorite search engine and go there instead (which in my case it's Google) or I can set is as my home page but it's still a couple of extra steps. I was not amused with RIM's approach....then again, since they seem to be in bed now with Microsoft, so I am not surprised. Soooo....is it possible to set a different search engine default or am I stuck for now? Thanks! __________________ software development design agency london |
