| Tigertext HIPAA texting works on RIM? I am hoping some people here can help me with this work issue we are dealing with at the local small hospital I am now working at (thank *** for the job!!). Anyways, we are dealing with the issue that doctors are texting patient info which is a violation of HIPAA patient info laws. Our department was told to look at some ways that would allow doctors to use their smartphones and tablets to sent HIPAA comp texts and emails. We are looking at getting a large expensive BYOD system (Aruba), but the cost is high too high and I don't think it's gonna happen. I have been looking around at a way to solve the main issue of HIPAA texting. When researching this, I found Tigertext which is HIPAA compliant texting app that automatically deletes text messages after a period of time. Like BB, it is on it's own network, but unlike BB's it can work across platforms which BB can't. There are some big hospitals are using them (according to their website). Has anyone any experience with Tigertext? It looks like they have a BB version of the app, but which OS will it work on? Link = www.tigertext.com |
