Member: 1204302 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | WIFI tethering 9810 os 7.1 I called att and asked if this feature works on thier network and what would tethering cost to add? (roughly 50 for 5 gig) and then the rep said I would lose my current deal (I was grandfathered, unlimited data and text 500 mins daytime, 500 mins weekend (65) ) I asked is there a way to test this or try it just to confirm it works with my laptop and tablet? I was told no... The rep then tried to sell me a mifi or sim on a new contract? Uhm how much junk must I carry with me? Anyone know how or if its possible to shut off the ATT message and use the hotspot feature anyway? If I switch to another provider do I need to change the OS to their version? Would changing to a tmobile or verizon version block the att message? (appears dialog in service books?) maybe hex edit ?? Thanks! |
