u talking bout,a cart via the gba port or somthing like r4,boots from the ds port?
if cart,then u need some sort of passme card in the ds port,easiest/cheapest for this is a "media launcher"this enable to boot from the gba port...or meaning,enable you see ur .nds games,this type have probs with games 128Mb or over...
if using something like r4,then mem go into the special card on the ds port itself.and cos ur using the ds port anyway,this a lot easier,to use,plus no bulky cart sticking out the gba port same time.
when u see the mem on ur computer,what extension are the games?
beit ".nds"these play on the 2 screens,or ".gba"these will only play on 1 of the screens.
u can get "umc pcos"to actually load them onto mem for you,its free,works with most memery,and very easy2 use.more info on that at:

the best way is too buy a FLASHCART and the storage media it needs . . and you need is the games that you want to play . . . kope this helps =D

Doesn't it depends on the SLOT-1/SLOT-2 cart you are using, and you have to convert the games with the cart's software before you move them into your memory card? That's how I do it.
