How to know the Control ID, Board ID, LCD ID and etc - GSM-Forum

I want to Upgrade my mp4 player... But I do not know how to start..

I dont know how to find the right firmware for my mp4..

I dont know how to find its control ID, Board ID and etc

Open the player. Look at the Camera. There will a white printing on the camera flex wire. That is Camera ID. Look at the backside of the LCD. There is LCD ID on the back or on the flex. Search the board. Some where you can find the Board ID. Look of a big chip mostly on the LCD side. On that chip there is Control Chip ID. The name will be printed on the top of the IC.
