Man are you sure that this method with shorting flash chip legs is not destroying the device?
I have a GPS Routee 66 that died after wrong firmware update and now PC sees it as a unknown device...do you think I coud try this method on this device too???

I have a pro in MP4. In starting the mp4 displyed a boll like earth and mp4 is not going to menu. After updating firmware mp4 displying white disply and system show the drives in my computer . But no any display on MP4. Please solve my pro sir.
