Nintendo Wii - Nunchuk LED Modding Tutorial!

Information About This Tutorial:
This tutorial will show you on how to put a LED light in the nunchuck under the stick.

Requirpments:
one nunchuck
A Triwing Screwdriver
Needle Nose Pliers
one 3mm LED in your choice of colour
Soldering Iron and Solder
Electrical Tape

3mm LED:
Code:http://ledshoppe.com/led3mm.htm

Step 1:
useing the Triwing Screwdriver carefully unscrew and take
off the nunchuck shell.

Step 2:
This mod will center around two test points.

Step 3:
You’ll need to use your pliers to bend the leads of the LED as shown
wrap a small amount of Electrical tape around the exposed leads

Step 4:
place the led on the circuit board like shown on pic and solder the leads on to the two test point Keep in mind LED's have polarity Make sure your + and - go to the correct sides of the "test points." The side of the led that is flat is the negative side. Another way to identify the sides is to look at lead length. The shorter lead is the - and the longer lead is the +..make sure the led light does not go past the white analog box leave it alone for five mins to make sure the solder has set properly

Step 5:
useing the triwing screwdriver again screw the nunchuck back together.

Step 6:
plug the nunchuck into the wiimote and turn it on if you have done it right your analog stick will now glow.

you now have a modded nunchuck!
